It happened once again. The Donna Rosa Igt Calabria is, for the second year in a row, the best Rosé amongst all Italian wines. Though still missing the official confirmation, the most famous Italian wine critic, Luca Maroni, writes it already made clear in his Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani 2016 and refers textually: the Donna Rosa 2014, simply the best Italian rosè wine of the year. Luca Maroni, crowns the Woman rose, for the second time at the top of the great Italian, well 95 points and then assign rosati 31 32 32 points in texture, balanced and in integrity. Certainly not a discovery or for Luca Maroni who has or had a chance to taste this Rosé produced by native and gaglioppo grapes refined in barrique, coming out definitely out of the ordinary and that definitely works in every corner of the world. Oh what show and what honor -Luca Maroni in his complete works continues- feel the nature involve its odor at its first stage of linfaticamente crystalline purity. Here did not take the scent, not vices in the vineyard, not in the cellar in his ultraprotetta, respectful, fermentation. Yes, because an air oozes dared harm of this grape its stunning natural health bill. A brunette pink, a brunette viola, a cherry ripe densely. A fragrance whose oxidative intactitude makes turgidamente lasting fleshy. Over dosage of tannin, not only no sulphur flower veins and diamond, clorofillosa vegetables, which this puree, soft leads us deep Rosaceae of fruitiness that lost. As for fragrance, souplesse and density of notes, one of the best rosé wines of the year, chapeau. And then the critic assigns scores to the top of their respective categories to reserve Cirò doc classico superiore Duke of Argillone 2010 (93 points), to the Cirò doc rosato 2014 (92 points), the Vignacorta Igt Calabria 2013 (91 points), to the Cirò doc bianco (90 points), 2014 (90 points), Igt Calabria Settemari at Nove passito Igt Calabria 2010 (90 points) and finally to the Cirò doc rosso classico (89 points). An honor and a great satisfaction to Antonio Iuzzolini and for his farm San Francesco, be reviewed so the great Luca Maroni, who has been invited to write for the Treccani "wine tasting" and who has tasted and written, to date, by ben 250,000 wines.
